Bone Structure Haircutting
Have you ever noticed a technically perfect haircut that didn’t quite suit the person? Michael takes a different approach, using bone-structure-based design to create custom cuts that complement your unique features. Each style is tailored to fit your bone structure, body type, lifestyle, fashion sense, budget, and personality. To ensure I am crafting the perfect look for you, I've developed an intake form for new clients that helps build a complete picture of your needs and preferences for a truly personalized experience.
Why is this different?
-
Customized to You: Face shape-driven haircuts are tailored to your unique features, ensuring the style enhances and brings out your best qualities.
-
Flattering Proportions: By considering your bone structure, these designs help create balance and symmetry, highlighting your facial features
-
More Than Just a Trend: Unlike generic hairstyles, face shape-based designs are timeless, working with your natural proportions rather than following temporary fads.
-
Maximizes Versatility: This approach allows you to wear your hair in multiple styles, knowing that each look complements your face shape.
-
Adds Confidence: Knowing your hairstyle was designed specifically for you can boost your confidence, making you feel more polished and put-together.
-
Enhances Your Features: Face shape-based cuts draw attention to your best features, such as your eyes, cheekbones, or jawline, and subtly downplay any areas you’d prefer not to highlight.
-
Personalized Recommendations: Understanding your face shape helps a stylist offer personalized advice on color, texture, and length that will work best for your overall look.
-
Reflects Your Lifestyle and Personality: This approach considers not only your physical features but also your lifestyle, fashion sense, and personality, ensuring that your look matches who you are.
What to expect from your Haircut
Step 1: BOOKING: The booking process is the same as a traditional wet cut. Book a cut and we will discuss what it best for your hair. Straight/ Wavy hair book traditional cut and Curly hair book a curly cut.
Step 2: CONSULTATION: We work through getting to know you and understanding your history to create a custom plan. For a more in-depth consultation fill out the new client consultation form before your appointment.
Step 3: HAIR PREP: Wash the day before the appointment and come in with minimal product if possible. It's important to see the hair in its natural state to understand how it lays naturally.
Step 3: THE CUT: Depending on your texture and goals the cut will involve either cutting first in its natural state, cutting wet, or cutting it dry after smoothing. Most appointments involve a combination of a wet cut to create the shape followed by a dry cut to create the lived-in look and ensure a seamless blend.
